Dress The Population Spring 2013

Dress The Population spring 13 looks

Dress The Population Mini DressIn New York City I was introduced to the wonderful Dress The Population, whose sparkling mini dress went on a zillion outings with me over the festive period as I got my shimmer on in Manhattan at Christmas. This spring, the delightful team at Dress The Pop asked me if I’d like to try some of their new collection and of course I jumped at the chance to collaborate with them again.

Launched in July 2011, this LA-based brand have a heavy focus on the movement of fabrics, evidenced nicely this spring with lots of layering and flowing, asymmetrical cuts. The dresses in this collection are perfect for parties and weddings – pastel and monochrome colours mix and mingle with bold jewel tones and shimmering metallics so you have plenty of choice. I chose two of my favourite pieces from spring 2013 for the outfit post here. I chose them because they are perhaps also the most versatile, ea Lylah chiffon and lace cream skirt with side splits and Cara black chiffon tank. The tank is also great worn with denim shorts or jeans or a maxi skirt.

I love how Dress The Population help you make an impact on a budget. Click MONA to view their facebook page. Click MONA for their website. Many thanks to Dress The Population for the items featured in this post!
